Year 1800, Ancient Korea
(When Kyuhyun was 19 and Donghae was 21.)
Kyuhyun let the male on top insert his hard member inside of him, he moaned in pain yet unbeatable pleasure. "H-hae...keep going...!"
Donghae went deeper inside the boy and moaned lightly at how good and real this felt. He wrapped his hand on the younger's member and jerked him off.

Donghae was merely a peasant, but a very good looking one. He had so many girls that wanted him, but he wasn't interested in either of them.
Kyuhyun was a prince and his grandfather and step-father had sent hundreds of beautiful women to him. But none he ever wanted.
Kyuhyun knew his grandfather was getting old but he really didn't know why each woman was...unappealing to him.
Donghae loved his family very much, but that wasn't enough. He had lived in a far place from the village, deep in the woods. He always wore black and he would cut off his sleeves [as we now call them undershirts] and he'd informally cut his pants [what we call shorts]. Girls mainly liked him for his wild side, every other man in the village was so..."blunt", they had said. He probably seemed rough when making tools to trade and sell, but really deep down...he was extremely lonely.
Kyuhyun hated being in the palace. But this time, he had wished he'd never went out. But, he was glad he did, only because he had met Donghae in the woods.
(When Kyuhyun was 18 and Donghae was 20.)
For a full year, after they met, they have grown so fond of each other. Also, they had begun in a relationship unknown to anyone. Donghae was always happy when he was with Kyuhyun, he felt less lonely. Kyuhyun was also happy, and he felt more free.
But it didn't last long, unfortunately.
(When Kyuhyun was 21 and Donghae was 23.)
The guard held the rope tighter on Kyuhyun's neck.
His step father asked, "I will ask you one more time, are you seeing someone."
Kyuhyun growled, "No!"
His grandfather solemnly held his hand and the guards through down a body but the body autimatically got up.
Kyuhyun thought, 'Donghae...'
Donghae thought, 'Kyuhyun...'
Kyuhyun's step father asked, "Are you or are you not seeing this man, as in an intimate relationship?"
Kyuhyun confirmed, "Yes. I love him."
Kyuhyun's step father was about to slap Kyuhyun but his grandfather softly objected, "No." He made a gesture that meant, "Take the boy away".
The guards roughly pulled Donghae away and Kyuhyun's heart beat faster.
His grandfather sadly said, "You...have failed me, my grandson."
He wanted Kyuhyun dismissed and the step father demanded, "Put him in the cell! That's where all the homos belong." He walked away in fury, leaving a pissed off Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun was in the cell for about 5 days, until his older step brother came back to the palace. Kyuhyun never wanted the crown, Hyukjae [also known as Eunhyuk] wanted it. But, Eunhyuk was a modest boy. Since Kyuhyun was blood related to his grandfather, he was assigned to take the throne.
Eunhyuk had demanded the guards to let Kyuhyun out of his cell and into his room so he can meet him properly, not in some garbage box.
After Kyuhyun was cleaned and sitting in the living room across from his step brother he asked, "Why?"
Eunhyuk smiled, "Because, we're brothers. I don't care who you fall for, even if it was a dog I would still love you. Got that, Kyu?"
Kyuhyun didn't nod, he didn't even look at him either when he asked, "Where is Donghae...?"
Eunhyuk solemnly looked down and said, "Step father killed him, Kyu. That's why... I killed step father. You guys are the reason why I'm here. Also, because of the throne."
Kyuhyun felt tears form in his eyes, "I don't care who grandfather decides to give it to. I have nothing else to lose."
"Kyuhyun."
Kyuhyun looked up to see his grandfather walking towards a chair near Eunhyuk.
His grandfather said, "Hyukjae, please dismiss yourself. I must speak privately with my grandson."
Eunhyuk bowed politely and left the room, slowly closing the doors for privacy.
"Now," Kyuhyun's grandfather's voice was obviously making him feel old, "Kyuhyun, I didn't know he would kill him. But, let me tell you how I know...that his heart is still alive somewhere."
Kyuhyun asked, "Wh-were?"
His grandfather sighed, "Did you know that...our family was cursed towards the ones we truly love?" Kyuhyun shook his head. "I loved your grandmother, she had died. Your father, he died because your mother loved him too much. Your step father loved your mother a lot and she died. Eunhyuk loved his died so much he ended up killing him because he killed...the one you truly love.""
Kyuhyun asked, "How come no one told me?"
"We hoped you would never find love. And...Donghae's heart...is in someone else's body. There is only one question you must again. I shall ask you because...it has to be your choice. Do you want the throne?"
Kyuhyun bitterly asked, "Does it really make a difference?"
"It does. The girl that you or Eunhyuk will marry...has Donghae's heart. If you say yes, you two will be married and her heart will be attracted to you. But, if you say no to this and don't marry her...the curse will be broken."
Kyuhyun's heart trembled and he said, "You know I loved him. Why should I let his heart be given to Eunhyuk?"
"Because the heart will die too, Kyuhyun. She will never truly love Eunhyuk, and since he isn't blood related to our curse, neither will die."
Kyuhyun took awhile to answer, "...No. Let Eunhyuk have the throne."

(The year 2010, Kyuhyun is 16.)
Kyuhyun lived in a dorm with Sungmin Ryeowook, Yesung, Eunhyuk, and Daesook [Yesung's step sister and Eunhyuk's girlfriend]. Kyuhyun had been somewhat attracted to Daesook, and Daesook the same, but she felt...that she was destined to be with Eunhyuk.
It wasn't until later that Kyuhyun loved her so much that she ended up getting in a car crash. He knew it was his fault because all his life the ones he loved had died, which was why he promised he would never fall in love again.
Until the new dorm mate came along 2 years later.
(When Kyuhyun was 17 and Donghae was 19.)
Yesung smiled, "Everyone, this is an old friend of mine, Lee Donghae."
Once Kyuhyun laid eyes on him he could have sowrn it was that same "Daesook" attraction he had felt for her.
Days had went by and everyone noticed that Donghae and Kyuhyun had felt very...strange when they were near. And Eunhyuk felt like he was seeing another Daesook in the dorms.
When Donghae and Kyuhyun went out for some things to shop for, Donghae and Kyuhyun reached for the same book and Donghae blushed.
"Sorry." He took the book out and handed it to Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun froze for a milisecond but then shook his head. He handed it to Donghae and admitted, "I already read it. Here."
Donghae smiled and asked, "Really? Thanks. Was it any good?"
Kyuhyun teasingly said, "I'm not revealing anything."
Donghae pouted and said, "Fine then."
After they were done Donghae gasped, "Oops! I think I forgot something, Kyuhyun. Can you wait for me in the car?"
Kyuhyun obeyed and he was now sitting in the car for...5 minutes.
'Daesook would often forget things at the store and would ask us to stay in the car. And she would take 6 minutes max.' Kyuhyun thought.
Kyuhyun counted a few more seconds and saw Donghae slip inside the car. Kyuhyun thought, '6 minutes.'
Kyuhyun asked, "What'd you forget?"
Donghae blushed as he pulled out a box of cereal called "Fruity Pebbles". "I'm in love with this cereal, but I haven't had it in awhile and I was meaning to get it."
Kyuhyun thought, 'Daesook loved that cereal. Omo, he even...sounds like her.'
Donghae and Kyuhyun were silent as they drove back to the dorms. Donghae turned the car off and noticed Kyuhyun wasn't even moving. He asked, "Is there something wrong?"
Kyuhyun got out of his daze and shook his head. He got out, took some bags out of the car and headed inside the dorms, with Donghae following him.
While Kyuhyun was sleeping he awoke because he kept thinking about how similar Donghae was to Daesook. He got out of his bed and he headed for the kitchen. He should have expected this, but he didn't. Donghae was sitting on the table with a glass of water in his hands.
Kyuhyun thought, 'Daesook would often have nightmares and stay in the kitchen while drinking a glass of water.'
Kyuhyun went into the kitchen and took out a soda. He sat across from Donghae and asked, "Nightmares?"
Donghae asked, "How'd you know?"
Kyuhyun shook his head and took a gulp of his drink. He asked, "Can I...tell you something?"
Donghae nodded.
Kyuhyun muttered, "It has to be between us, though. Okay?"
"Okay."
Kyuhyun confessed, "Before you came to live with us, Yesung had a step sister named Daesook. For some reason, I really liked her, a lot. But her and Eunhyuk were together. I've always had this feeling if I loved someone too much, they'd die. It has happened over the years. So...I ended up falling for her so much, and...she died from a car crash."
Donghae asked, "Did she...ever know?"
Kyuhyun shook his head. "We barely knew each other, well she barely knew me. I knew everything about her. She...liked the same books I liked. She would often forget things at the store, ask us to wait in the car, and take 6 minutes to be done. She liked that Fruity Pebbles cereal a lot. She had a thing for having a naturally cute voice and blushing. And...she would often wake up from a nightmare and drink a glass of water to calm down."
Donghae looked down and said, "When did she die?"
Kyuhyun said, "March 14, 2009. Eunhyuk was taking her somewhere and it happened."
Donghae quietly said, "When I came here, I ended up getting a heart attack on March 14, 2009. I was in a coma for a few months. When I woke up, Yesung was by my side and he told me they had to replace my heart. When I came here, and I saw a picture of 'Daesook' in Eunhyuk's room, I asked him who she was and he said just someone.
"But, later on I wanted to know who's heart I had. And...it turned out to be Daesook's heart."
Kyuhyun's heart started to beat faster and harder. He asked, "Really?"
Donghae nodded.
(When Kyuhyun was 19 and Donghae was 21.)
They had tried their best to not be so awkward from time to time. Yesung couldn't take it anymore and he said, "Let's go out."
When Yesung ever says "out" it's usually really rare. But, he said it and everyone obeyed.
Donghae admitted he didn't really drink at all and Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun thought, 'Daesook never really drank either.'
Donghae felt a litte...left out since Sungmin and Eunhyuk were doing a dance battle and Yesung and Ryeowook were...somewhere[?] else.
He sat next to Kyuhyun and asked, "What are you drinking?"
Kyuhyun shrugged, "I don't even know, it just tastes good."
Donghae laughed and got the same thing. He admitted, "Wow, it really does taste good."
They drank a few more and the next thing they knew they were kissing as if they were together.
Donghae pulled away and panted to catch his breath.
Kyuhyun said, "Wow..."
They were both now in Kyuhyun's room and they were on his bed. Donghae started stripping off both of their clothes. He sucked on Kyuhyun's neck and the yougner boy moaned. Donghae admired Kyuhyun's strong vocals and he whispered, "More..."
He went further down to suck on Kyuhyun's nipple and he licked it in strong cirlces. Kyuhyun moaned in hasty breaths and pants that could be heard from next door.
Donghae finished with that and he suddenly stuck his member inside the boy below. Kyuhyun winced and moaned out of abrupt pain.
Donghae whispered, "Sorry."
Kyuhyun objected, "Don't be, keep going, Hae."
Donghae kept going and he thrusted himself pretty hard. Kyuhyun brought Donghae's body closer to his and their moist bodies rubbed in the process. They both panted and groaned and moaned offbeat but it was still a great rhythm that they were at.
Donghae felt himself coming close to his climax and Kyuhyun had already spilled himself on Donghae stomach. Donghae felt Kyuhyun's body shutter in the process and Donghae moaned louder as he felt that. He soon spilled his seed inside Kyuhyun and Kyuhyun moaned.
Donghae fell beside Kyuhyun and the younger boy slowly let himself sleep.
(When Kyuhyun was 20 and Donghae was 22.)
Donghae and Kyuhyun were somehow closer, but they never mentioned what happened that day. In fact, they never even went out together or neither would be seen in the kitchen late at night.
Then Donghae found him. Donghae asked, "What am I...supposed to tell Kyuhyun?"
His father shook his head and said, "Are you sure he's the one. If you're mistaking, then the spell won't be broken."
Donghae pointed out, "Your passed heart told Kyuhyun that."
"Welll, it should work this time."
Donghae asked, "How?"
"Eunhyuk is starting to have feelings for you. But if he gives you up, the spell will be done."
Donghae nodded.
(A few months [maybe a year].)
Kyuhyun unexpectedly moved out the day Donghae went out to see his dad.
Kyuhyun grimaced when his mother told him the whole story of their past. He asked, "But...is that why...everyone in our family died?"
His mother, who was talking to him on the phone, said, "Yes, Kyuhyun. If Eunhyuk won't accept Donghae then you'll have him and it'll all end."
Kyuhyun said, "Umma, I'm in America. You said the deadline is this week. How am I going to leave to Seoul, find Donghae, and all that."
"Oh," his mother challenged, "Are you saying you can't do it?"
"Well, I never sa-"
"Is this too hard for you? Are you not going to suceed this time? I think I should tell your grandfather-"
"No! Fine, I'll be in Seoul some time soon." Once Kyuhyun hung up he suddenly thought, 'Holy crap, I don't even know where he lives.'
(4 days later)
Kyuhyun asked again, "What?"
Yesung and Kyuhyun were at a cafe in Seoul.
Yesung answered, "He...he's getting married to Eunhyuk. Ever since you left he's been... not himself. He started to act different."
Kyuhyun asked, "But...why is he marrying him? Why is Eunhyuk marrying Donghae? My Donghae!"
Yesung smirked, "I knew you liked him."
"Huh," Kyuhyun turned confused. "But, how?"
Yesung said, "I knew you loved Daesook. And...after Donghae came to Seoul, and he had his heart replaced by Daesook, I wanted to know how much you really wanted Daesook's heart. Plus, Eunhyuk saw something about Daesook in Donghae."
Kyuhyun stood up, "Where is he?"
Yesung admitted, "I don't know."
Kyuhyun promised, "If I don't find him, and confess to him, I'll kill myself." Kyuhyun walked away.
(The next day.)
Donghae asked, "W-what?"
Sungmin said, "Kyuhyun came back for you. Are you going to say no to him?"
Donghae teared up, "He left without even telling me, Sungmin. That means something. It means he doesn't love me the same way. Face it, Sungmin, it'll never happen between us. Plus, I'm getting married tomorrow. What am I gonna tell Eunhyuk?"
Sungmin stated, "Especially since you don't even love Eunhyuk. What are you to tell him? I don't know. What will you tell Kyuhyun? I don't know that either."
(The next day.)
Kyuhyun knew time was running out, he knew he was supposed to succeed, but he couldn't. Not while seeing his best friend win the love of his life all over again.
"Lee Eunhyuk, do you take Donghae to be your husband."
Eunhyuk, unsure if he really wanted to take something that belonged to Kyuhyun away, hesitated. But he answered, "I do."
Kyuhyun thought, 'I...can't take it much longer.'
Kyuhyun instantly got up to leave, Yesung, Ryeowook, and Sungmin's eyes widened. Sungmin whispered in a plead, "Please, Kyu, don't leave again."
Kyuhyun whispered, "He has him." Kyuhyun walked towards the door.
Donghae who saw someone leaving from the corner of his eye, gasped inside. He didn't know Kyuhyun had showed up. He begged inside, 'Kyuhyun, don't leave me again. I may have left you once, but I'm here. Please, come back.'
"Lee Donghae, do you take this man to be your husband?"
Donghae took a big gulp. He looked into Eunhyuk's eyes and saw solemn-ness, yet the least bit of attraction. He looked at Sungmin, who loved Kyuhyun ever since he met him, and Sungmin gave him the, "Please stop" look.
"Lee Donghae, do you?"
"Donghae..." Eunhyuk whispered.
Donghae's heart started to ahce and he suddenly groaned. He put his hand to his heart and fell.
Eunhyuk caught him and the people started gasping and calling the ambulance. Eunhyuk whispered, "Donghae... Donghae..."
Donghae whispered, "Kyuhyun..."
Eunhyuk felt his heart break. But he thought, 'This is how it should be. This is how it should've been.'
(The next day.)
Donghae woke up in a hospital bed and he saw Sungmin next to him. He quickly stood up and asked, "W-...what happened?"
Sungmin, who's eyes were red, whispered, "You...you had a heart atack. Then, Kyuhyun...he found out... then he... he gave you his heart." Sungmin's tears started to flow off his face.
Donghae held his heart and he asked, "But...why?"
Sungmin said, "Because he...loves you, Donghae. He always had."
Donghae covered his face and started crying.
But he then heard Kyuhyun's voice, 'You shouldn't be sad, you should be happy. You get to live your life, Donghae. You can get married, have kids, and make sure they break the spell. Donghae, I'd do anything for you, even give you my heart. I... I love you forever. Accept my heart.'
